06 / Elite Protection Dogs

Operational purpose

Capability developed
for real conditions.

A protection dog must be capable without becoming difficult to live with. Selection considers temperament, environmental stability, sociability, health, trainability and the level of protection appropriate to the client’s circumstances.

ISTK9 manages the process from private-client assessment and international sourcing or importation through customized training, household integration and handler transfer. This division serves qualified private, family, VIP and private-security clients; it is separate from agency Patrol K9 development. The objective is a stable, controllable dog whose preparation matches the client’s expectations and daily environment.

ISTK9 approach

Selection before customization

The right dog is determined by fit, not appearance alone. ISTK9 begins with the client’s real environment, confirms that the engagement is appropriate and then selects the temperament and capability most likely to integrate successfully.

01

Private consultation and assessment

Define lifestyle, household, security concerns, experience, timing, travel and the desired level of capability so ISTK9 can assess client suitability.

02

Client acceptance and deposit

If ISTK9 accepts the client, a deposit is required before sourcing, reservation or customized preparation begins. The applicable terms are confirmed in writing.

03

Selection and custom preparation

Evaluate temperament, health information and working behavior, then develop obedience, environmental behavior, protection tasks and routines appropriate to the future home.

04

Placement and transfer

Integrate the dog, educate the client, verify practical control and establish the follow-up plan.

Professional standards

Pricing and suitability

  • Protection-dog pricing generally begins at approximately $25,000 and may exceed $80,000 per dog.
  • Final cost depends on the dog’s quality, origin, experience, prior training, specialization, importation requirements and level of customization.
  • Placement is subject to client qualification, legal considerations, dog availability and a successful suitability assessment.
  • A deposit is required only after ISTK9 reviews and accepts the client. The deposit amount, payment schedule, scope, and sourcing or preparation terms are confirmed in writing before work begins.
